lena f.:*, writer and analog collagist
exploring juxtaposition, simplicity and subtext through word and cut paper as she conveys stories through minimal words/images.
zen chaser / analog collage maker / word shaper
A champion paper hoarder, builder of book towers and a language enthusiast. She perpetually chases zen alongside her sweet dachshund, who also moonlights as one of her muses.
Handcut creations from piles and piles of old magazines, wrappers and ephemera. I first became curious about analog collage while studying graphic design. For years, collecting and colour-coding paper that I never used. I dabbled here and there, but was never consistent. Until one day, I used it to deal with the loss of someone very dear to me and have been cutting ever since.
Analog collage
At twelve years old, I would write love poems to all my crushes, never once sharing any of them. In 2016, I picked up the pen again to draft haikus at a local cafe. Fully embodying the cliché. Still obsessed with human emotion, still not sharing with the coveted ones.

Zines and mini-zines
A new obsession. Zines are the ideal venue for sharing my creations with you. Watch for them launching soon.
